While sorting my shelf, I noticed a couple of notebooks I like seeing there but haven't wanted to write in yet. I used to feel I should put them to use or pass them on; now I'm fine with some stationery being enjoyable to keep, while the notebooks I actually reach for can stay plain and practical.
