Title: Should stationery brands keep core colors in stock year-round?
Post by: deskdrawer on Oct 08, 2026, 02:58 PM
I like seeing new color releases, but it can be frustrating when a useful everyday color gets replaced by a limited edition. Do you prefer brands to focus on seasonal drops, or keep a dependable core range available all year?

A small core range year-round would be my preference, especially for neutral colors that work with different inserts and setups. Seasonal colors are fun, but they should feel like extras rather than replacements. A heads-up before a core color is discontinued would help, too.

I prefer a dependable core range, particularly for products where colours can be replaced individually. Running out of one useful shade shouldn't mean buying a whole set again or settling for something that does a different job.
