For regular carry, a B6 starts to feel bulky to me at around 250–300 pages. Thick paper or a rigid cover can make it feel bulky sooner. Check whether the count refers to printed pages or physical sheets, since those aren't the same.

I keep looking for Hobonichi Weeks videos about how a setup holds up after a few months, and most of what I find is an unboxing or another fresh start. I'm not expecting anyone to use one planner forever, but it can be hard to tell what actually works once the novelty wears off.

For carrying it between desk and meetings, I'd go with the smaller rings. Move finished notes out as it fills up instead of carrying extra bulk for pages you might not need.

I'd probably use two colours at most: one for pages I need to find again and one for unfinished things. That's different from using the flags without a colour system, but I'd lose track if I made it any more complicated.

If you use the monthly page for a keepsake, add the week or date beside it. Otherwise, it can be hard to tell which week it belongs to later.

I also separate things I can act on from things waiting on someone else. Otherwise they sit on my list looking like I've just failed to get round to them.

I treat it as a small job, not a whole-basket event: one person's clothes or one drawer's worth, then stop. It needn't all be put away in one go.

I'm trying to keep my everyday Traveler's Notebook kit compact, but the notebook itself isn't what takes up the space. It's all the little extras I pack just in case. I've started leaving the ruler and spare pen at home, though I'm not sure the ruler is gone for good.

After a long day, picking something to watch can turn into its own little chore. I'll browse for ages, get too tired to start anything, then put on a familiar show instead. It's not a big problem, but it does eat into the time I meant to spend unwinding.

I'm trying to choose a ring size for a binder to carry between my desk and meetings, mostly for current notes and a few reference sheets. Smaller rings keep the whole thing less bulky, but leave less room as pages build up; larger rings are easier to flip through, though they start to feel like more binder than I need. I can't decide which trade-off matters more for something that's meant to stay portable.
