Page compatibility is my must-have in a disc-bound planner

For me, a disc-bound setup is only truly modular if I can move pages wherever I need them. Adding dividers is easy enough, but incompatible punch patterns make rearranging a hassle. So I care more about page compatibility than the number of built-in sections.

Page compatibility affects the cost too. I'd check whether refills come punched for that system, or whether I'd need a separate punch to use other paper, then price up the refills before choosing. The planner itself might look affordable, but the extras can add up.

The punch pattern is only half of compatibility. If a page wasn't laid out for that system, the punched margin can cut into the writing area, so it may fit perfectly and still feel cramped.
