Limited-edition notebook covers turn browsing into a deadline

I own enough A5 notebooks that I don't need to make every cover decision quickly. But a limited-edition color can turn harmless browsing into a little countdown in my head, which is an odd amount of pressure to attach to paper. I can like a cover without needing to decide before it disappears.

I make it compete with the next notebook I actually plan to use. If it only wins because it might vanish, that's a daft reason to add another one to the pile.
