I'm weighing a Hobonichi Avec for 2027

I'm deciding whether to use a Hobonichi Avec next year instead of keeping the whole year in one book. The appeal is carrying only half the year at a time, but I like having everything together too. I'm not sure whether swapping books in July would feel like a fresh start or just another bit of admin.

With the Hobonichi Avec, the July switch doesn't have to be a full reset. Carry over only ongoing lists or details you'll still need, so it doesn't turn into a second setup job.

How often you look back at old entries is the part I'd focus on. The Hobonichi Avec puts those references in two books, so the lighter carry can mean more hunting when you need something from the first half of the year.
