I keep overworking my bullet journal monthly page

I only need dates and a short task list, but I keep fiddling with the headings and spacing until the monthly page feels finished. Then I hesitate to write on it in case I mess it up. It's a bit frustrating when the page is meant to make things easier.

Try putting one real task on the page before adjusting the spacing again. It feels less like a pristine design you might spoil once it's already doing its job.
