Thick scraps can make a collage page lumpy fast

When I collage with sticker leftovers, thin paper scraps tuck in easily, but a few thicker pieces can make the page lumpy fast. I save those sturdier scraps for standalone accents instead of layering them everywhere. They still get used, just without turning the whole page into a stack.

I'd also watch where the thicker pieces land on the page. Placing several along the same edge can make the notebook sit unevenly, so alternating sides helps spread out the bulk.

Saving the thicker bits for accents helps, and I also check how the notebook closes as I build the page. Two spreads that look fine separately can make a surprisingly chunky stack back to back.
